Good Friends Are Rewarding to Have
“A true friend doesn’t sympathize with your weakness; instead they help summon your strength.” – Anonymous, excerpt from Quotations for Successful Living
I want to thank everyone, friends included, for coming out and supporting me and the horses at the Epilogue Book Company and Off the Beaten Path Booksellers & Cafe in Steamboat Springs this past weekend. You all inspire me to spread the horses’ message of peace and love and express their hope to companion with compassionate people, especially women, in order to save the world. These were the first two stops on a national tour to publicize the horses’ book.
The first power-point presentation for A History of Horses Told by Horses was mired by a computer glitch when my laptop froze up delaying the start by fifteen minutes. Being technologically challenged I was flustered and at a loss for what to do. Fortunately, a friend came forward from the crowd and saved the day, thank you Richard.
This is not the first time a friend has come to my rescue, it has happened many times and I am thankful. If I attempted here to list everyone who has helped me, the list would be long, for this I am very grateful. Horses and humans are social beings both need and depend on the help of their friends. No one should live on an island of isolation. We all need help from time-to-time and having good friends, horses and humans, certainly makes those times easier.
It is also very rewarding for me when I can help a friend in need, as it gives me a sense of accomplishment. This is also the main reason I became a certified Spiritual Healer, to help other beings, human and nonhuman. Thanks again, may there be peace and love in all your relationships. Have a great day!
FALA (Friends And Love Always),
Hal

I LOVE that line… “No one should live on an island of isolation.” During these economic struggles, we must remember that very point! Reach out to friends and family who love and support you. Express your appreciation and bring peace to a sometimes hectic day.
